Quinta do Cobral is a little paradise, so magical, so peaceful, so beautiful, so everything! It Starts with your hospitality, your affection, love and pride with which you show us your corner. Thanks for that, and for sharing this paradise with us. The animals, all so sweet. We took all in the heart but especially “Blue”, Ylva and Teddy, Joan and Andre loved having them always around. And Yeahhh, we managed to take some fun dips in your fantastic pool.

Ishbel your works are wonderful, so….the soaps are out of this world.

All our bookings were cancelled and we just had to wait to see what would happen - very scary! We took the opportunity to completely renovate the house, repainting every surface, washing and deep cleaning, new soft furnishings, new furniture, new eco friendly products and lots of new love and energy!!

It was so wonderful when the Portuguese Government (who we think have handled the situation very well) encouraged Portuguese people to start to travel and explore their own country and bookings started to come in again.

When we first started letting our lovely little house in 2016 we had visitors from all over Europe coming, each year this has changed and before lockdown we were welcoming 96% Portuguese visitors to our house - this really is fantastic! We love it that people from this wonderful country want to come and visit us, they really get what we are trying to do here and appreciate our efforts to renovate an abandoned, but beautiful old farm. It makes us so happy that they enjoy our little house and what we have done, we feel that now we can give something back to our Portuguese visitors - such super friendly, kind and proud people. Thank you for welcoming us (Estrangeiros - foreigners) to your country!

Quando começamos a deixar nossa linda casinha em 2016, recebíamos visitantes de toda a Europa, todos os anos isso mudava e, antes do bloqueio, recebíamos 96% de visitantes portugueses em nossa casa - isso nos deixa muito felizes! Adoramos que as pessoas deste país maravilhoso queiram nos visitar, realmente entendem o que estamos tentando fazer aqui e agradecemos nossos esforços para reformar uma fazenda antiga abandonada, mas bonita.
